World Hoop Day 2011

Get into the spin on World Hoop Day! 12 Nov.

Brighton is celebrating World Hoop Day in style with a hula hooping flash mob on 12th November.

Over 60 hula hoopers will congregate at The Level at 12pm to rock out a choreographed hoop dance, then parade down to the Pavilion Gardens and on to Churchill Square.

Hoopers and non-hoopers alike are welcome to come down and enjoy the colourful parade and have a go at swinging a hoop.

World Hoop Day is an international celebration of hula hooping and Brighton hoopers are using the opportunity to raise money for Spark! Circus.

SPARK! is a group of spectacular international volunteer circus performers who come together to bring joy to groups of disadvantaged children in refugee camps, migrant schools, hospitals and orphanages along the Thai Burmese border.  http://www.sparkcircus.org/
